What Others are Saying

Rosette beautifully tells the story of how God’s love met her in her pain and transformed her forever. She bravely shares some of the most difficult seasons of her life and the heartbreak that came with them. She describes how her heart was first hurt and then hardened but eventually made new as she came to understand that forgiveness was the remedy for her pain. Forgiveness wasn’t something she did for the people that had hurt her. It was what she did to find freedom.

One of Rosette’s most powerful statements is “God changed me because I let Him.” Choosing to forgive those who had hurt her required her to trust God first. Sometimes, we wait for God to work on our behalf, but often, God is waiting for us to trust Him so that He can. If you struggle with the pain of disappointment or betrayal or broken relationships, Rosette will show you the way to freedom through her story.

In her book, The Power of Forgiveness, Rosette takes us on her personal journey of disappointment, loss, desperation, forgiveness, vindication, and ultimately, restoration. The victory at the end of Rosette’s journey is only possible because of forgiveness, and it is being sustained by principles such as love, meditation, and others.

Modern psychological principles depend heavily on meditation, which they suggest is to “empty your mind of your worries”. However, true (biblical) meditation is to rather “fill up your mind with the Word of God”, for it is the Word of God that delivers, heals, and restores!

Rosette, through the agency of the Spirit of God, has written a life-changing book on the power of forgiveness, which is so desperately needed in our world today. I highly recommend this book!

The one who extends forgiveness to another is the greatest beneficiary of the same as compared to the receiver of forgiveness. This is a hidden truth that is brought into the open by this book. We pray that each reader uncovers this secret and is released from the cage of fear, mistrust, and insecurity.

Rosette writes about the power of forgiveness with great conviction and clarity as someone who has gone through painful circumstances that, by the world's standards, would justify her holding onto those hurts caused by others. Her very inspiring and captivating story opens you up to her world and hurts she experienced. She walks you through the process of getting free from un-forgiveness while pointing the reader to the only One who empowers and helps us conquer unforgiveness - the Lord Jesus Christ! Get ready to be inspired and equipped to walk in freedom. This is a book that you will not want to put down until you're done reading!

Deeply wounded, Rosette spent years clinging to anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness. It left her hopeless and robbed of true and lasting joy. In this book, Rosette shares candidly about the events and circumstances that brought her to the place where she knew something had to change.

Yet, she doesn’t stop there! She leads you to the One who worked the ‘impossible’ in her life, transforming it into one of hope, inner joy, and restoration. In addition, she provides clear steps for how you, too, can experience that same transformation. I highly recommend this book!

As a mentor/coach to Kingdom Leaders around the globe, I love how this author was able to take a subject as complex as forgiveness and make it simple and peaceful. Forgiveness doesn’t mean excusing the harm that was caused by another. It is about bringing peace to your hurting heart, a peace that surpasses all understanding (as described in the Word). In forgiving, we not only move forward in our own life, but we also let God draw the other person closer to Him so that He can release them into their intended destiny as well.

I appreciate the passion that comes from my mom’s narrative. The story unpacks the heartbreak, betrayal, and rejection that an individual might experience. It validates the fact that each of us will experience negativity in life, we will continue to go through hardships, and we are imperfect beings. However, healing comes from the Lord, and we have a God who continues to shower us with unconditional love.

My mom brings her passion by guiding readers with powerful Scriptures that we can absorb into our lives by meditating on them and reflecting on our own lived experiences and growth. The story unfolds a holistic way of healing, meaning that we deserve to heal physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. But the first step comes from our willingness to acknowledge what we need to work on, identifying what outcome we want, and casting our ultimate faith on the One who makes it all possible.
